Hudol House is a (currently) small video game and art development studio operating out of Melbourne Australia.
We make a few things. Our main focus is creating independent video games for PC, with original visual art, original stories and characters, great audio and music, and interesting mechanics and play styles. If you didn’t catch that, originality and a hand crafted feel is at Hudol Houses core.
Everything we sell is lovingly made by real human people… and maybe the help of a few little elves.

We are passionate about the magical medium of games, the unique way they tell stories, and perhaps more importantly, the way they can stick in your brain and inspire you to make your own stories.
Whether its a big world to escape to, or a little story to witness, we are all about that magical moment when a new game world first enchants you and sucks you in.
We also make art and tools so you can make games too.

Daniel has always been passionate about art, especially drawing, often inspired by the video games he grew up playing. After earning a Bachelor of Game Design, he honed his skills in game development, blending storytelling with interactivity showcased in his first independent project, Just, Bearly, an award-winning interactive artwork.
After years away from the dev scene teaching, managing businesses, and most importantly, meeting his lovely wife, Charity, Daniel has returned to his true passion—game development. As the co-founder and lead developer of Hudol House, he brings games to life from concept to launch, wearing multiple hats as a programmer, artist, designer, and writer. Sometimes, he even gets a little help from a few elves.
Charity Roberts has a background in civil engineering, working on development and civil infrastructure projects focussing on risk management, managing contractors, design, project scheduling and financing. She is excited to be applying her technical background coupled with a life long dedication to event management and community engagement in her personal life to the world of game development. Her unique blend of experiences equip her perfectly to manage business and production, keeping everyone moving and making our games possible.
Charity brings with her a love of co-op games, and desire to make more projects accessible to a wide range of gamers. She also brings a great affinity for community fostering, working with contractors and a keen eye for finance.
